IT Security Manager Application & Cloud (m/f/d) in Essen

Currently we are looking for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:

Your primary responsibilities:

Work closely with IT Security and other service owners responsible for establishing governance, policies, and requirements related to infrastructure security

Work closely with system owners to expand on infrastructure security into new or changed services to additional systems
-

Ownership and continuous improvement of the application security framework
-

Development and implementation of a comprehensive application security strategy
-

Management of risks within applications
-

Assessment of teams in respect of their compliance to security requirements
-

Advising and guiding on technical security needs of development teams font-size:10pt;color:#000000;">Leading and organization the security champion community.
-

Selection, introduction and ownership of security tools (e.g. SAST or SCA)
-

Inspire and influence others to execute security principles
-

Specify, design, and build IT Security applications security solutions around Hardening and Benchmarking and consultancy
-

Serve as a subject matter expert and solution architect for IT Security application solutions

Your key competencies:

-
-

(Very) good practical experience and knowledge of IT Security in the area of application development in general

-

Background in application/software security
-

Knowledge of Cloud-based infrastructures (especially AWS), ideally including security aspects
-

Ideally, experience in integrating security principles/guidelines into software development process through SDLC (Security Development Lifecycle) processes
-

Consulting skills with the ability to communicate with different stakeholders including developing teams

-

Broad knowledge of IT Security with focus on complex infrastructure solution

-

Knowledge of IT Security in hybrid environments, e.g. AD, Azure AD, Azure, AWS etc.
-

Fluency in English language
