IT Security Engineer - Cyber Threat

IT Security Engineer - Cyber Threat with experience in data protection wanted for our client, an international bank in Zurich.

YOUR TASKS:

- Evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
- Indicating security solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Setting up security solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
- Designing a ruleset for NIDS or lancope
- Improving operations of security solutions by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or a technical field
- 3+ years' experience in an IT role, with a strong focus on information security and data protection
- Solid know-how of the cyber threat landscape
- Deep knowledge of Network Intrusion Detection System ("SourceFire") or Netflow with profiling (eg. "Lancope") solution
- Expertise in other security tools, ie SIEM tools, Firewalls, Network monitoring and protection, Anti-Malware technologies
