IT Security Analyst - Intrusion Detection/Prevention & Malicious Code

A global financial organisation based in Luxembourg seeks an experienced IT Security Analyst - Intrusion Detection/Prevention & Malicious Code Expert to join their team for a long term contract.

Responsibilities for the IT Security Analyst - Intrusion Detection/Prevention & Malicious Code:

*Develop IDPS Concept (internal/external IDS, IPS design, policies, etc.)
*Support implementation projects (migration IDS >= IPS and internal IDPS)
*Develop Malicious Code Protection Concept

Experience needed for the IT Security Analyst - Intrusion Detection/Prevention & Malicious Code:

*4+ years experience in IT security with design & implementation of several large scale IDPS initiatives and Advance Malicious Code Protection techniques

Qualifications & skills needed for the IT Security Analyst - Intrusion Detection/Prevention & Malicious Code:

*Excellent knowledge of IDPS and Firewall technologies (Checkpoint, Cisco Sourcefire, etc.)
*Excellent knowledge of Antivirus vendor products
*Good knowledge of advanced Malicious code Protection technologies (Sandboxing, Behavioural analysis, threat intelligence)
*Previous deployment of Malicious Code Protection frameworks (tools & processes)
*English mandatory, French or German is a plus

Location: Luxembourg, but this position could involve occasional travel to Frankfurt

Duration: Currently foreseen until 31/12/2014 (extension possible)

Rate: €400 - €550 depending on experience
