IT SecurityMy client is a Major Investment Bank seeking an experienced IT security professional to join its Information Security team. This position provides services to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets, and working closely with the Americas lines of business. Ideal candidates will have a range of experience to include analyzing, mapping, protecting and/or discovering vulnerabilities, intrusions and threats in computer network systems, including: Oversee, effectively manage, and ensure compliance with appropriate standards and policies to protect Company information assets. Assist in creating and implementing policies, procedures, standards and guidelines that ensure the safety of information assets and confidential customer, consumer, employee and corporate data. Provide information risk advisory services to other areas. Remain current on developments affecting information risk and advise department management. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, with five to seven years of progressive experience in information security Strong infrastructure knowledge of networking protocols (WAN/LAN) Intrusion detection/prevention knowledge and sniffer/firewall technologies is required (Sourcefire or Snort) Strong working knowledge of forensic media analysis Proven and excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making, communications, problem-solving and lateral thinking skills Ability to work on security issues in cross-cultural environments If you meet the criteria please apply to Joseph Amanna at Huxley Associates
