Our super high-visibility client is in need of a candidate with experience managing SharePoint/Collaboration projects and superb business-facing communication skills. Must be PMP-certified and have project management experience leading technical teams in the delivery of software development, operational and integration efforts. Applicants with Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other active Agile certification will be preferred. The ability to manage outsourced development vendors and work effectively with multiple business partners is key.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The PM will be joining the Corporate IT Project Management Office, and will be responsible for successful project delivery while working with matrixed teams comprised of all ranges of technical and business personnel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- 8+ years of project management experience leading technical teams in the delivery of software development, operational and integration efforts
- 2+ years experience managing SharePoint/Collaboration projects
- Undergraduate degree in technical or business discipline required (equivalent work experience will be considered); advanced degree preferred
- Must be PMP Certified (no exceptions)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other active Agile certification a plus
- Demonstrable experience in Jira, Rally or other industry-recognized Agile management system
- Demonstrable experience in managing several concurrent medium-scale high profile projects with extensive executive stakeholder participation
- Experience in facilitating multi-tiered project governance processes
- Expertise in MS Project 2010 schedule management including understanding the role of robust WBSs
- Strong understanding of mature business requirements traceability processes
- Ability to direct a mix of internal and outsourced/vendor, geographically diverse resources for project delivery
- Ability to establish and sustain effective, professional relationships with IT and business managers
- Strategic thinking and the proven ability to engage and influence senior and executive management
