IT Project Manager (PMI, ITIL, CSV, QM, SW Development, HP ALM)

Our client, a major Pharma global player is currently looking for an IT PROJECT MANAGER (SENIOR) for a 12 months+ contract in Switzerland.

THIS MAJOR CORPORATION HAS A COMPREHENSIVE PORTFOLIO OF PROJECTS IN THE PROCUREMENT SPACE, FROM CONTRACT MANAGEMENT THROUGH TO INVOICE TO PAY. RECENTLY, AN ADDITIONAL PROJECT WAS ADDED TO THE PROCUREMENT PORTFOLIO, AND THEY REQUIRE A SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT TO JOIN THEIR GLOBAL TEAM.

Project scope:

The successful candidate will work in the area of PROCUREMENT, partnering with a Project Business Lead to establish the project deliverables needed to urgently get the project off the ground, and then manage the project through the different phases up to and including deployment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Primarily responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget and meeting the strategic business and technical requirements defined at project initiation and/or through controlled, documented scope management throughout the project delivery.
- Manages the triple constraints [Cost, Schedule, Scope/Quality] of the project delivery
- Identifies, schedules, and tracks to completion project deliverables, tasks, activities, and milestones
- Formulates and defines scope and objectives of the project
- Establishes and maintains effective communication for assigned projects and with dependent projects.

REQUESTED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

-Expert-level knowledge of project management methodology, standards and processes with 8+ years of experience in ERP/SAP/PROCUREMENT, preferably within a global/Matrix organization.
-Proven track record of effective project management covering FULL LIFE CYCLE FROM INITIATION TO DEPLOYMENT.
-Capability to think strategically and resolve complex issues, understanding dependencies and impacts
-Exposure to complex landscapes, processes and relationships (business, systems, policies, etc.)
-Excellent ability to communicate to others, adapting to the audience.
-Leading one or more high-level, complex technical projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements
-Interacting with management, coordinating and directing activities of project team members. Ensuring all project requirements and/or objectives are documented
-Strong track record of building trust and relationships, communicating with senior management, working independently and self-managing

Workload: 100% onsite in Switzerland (Remote work an option up to 20%, prior approval required)
