On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an IT Project Manager with profound knowhow of IT infrastructure for a new six month contract with strong chance of extension starting as soon as possible.
IT PROJECT MANAGER, INFRASTRUCTURE, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
In this exciting new contract role, you will work in a global organization with the aim of delivering complex global or cross organizational programs and projects to improve services for our customer and optimize processes, costs and operations worldwide.
- Managing IT infrastructure programs/projects standard project management methodology
- Plan project work
- Manage dependencies and deliver results
- Manage issues, risks and mitigation actions
- Develop and manage stakeholders according to program or project governance
- Manage reporting and sign-offs with senior stakeholders
- Communicate to management, stakeholders, team members, and subject matter experts on different levels
- Define, collect and monitor project metrics and manage project performance
- Manage risk and issue tracking, ownership and resolution
In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills:
- Proven people management skills (10+ years' experience) coordinating across global projects and teams
- Profound knowledge of Hardware, Networks, Storage, Virtualization and IT Security
- Ability to communicate up to senior stakeholders and manage expectations
- Demonstrable experience of working in an IT Service Management capacity
- ITIL Service Delivery qualification is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership skills and ability to drive for delivery
- Extensive experience in implementation and methodologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills (internal and with external partners)
- Fluent English (German nice to have)
- Motivation and potential for further development
- Proven IT infrastructure leadership and expertise in global organizations
- Experience of managing suppliers in outsourcing contracts
