IT Project Manager (Financial Industry/Projects Experience) Job

IT PROJECT MANAGER (financial industry) needed for a 12 month CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- IT project Manager Creates detailed project plan and estimate for large complex projects involving multiple IT teams. Manages the IT team, including systems analysts, developers, QA, to deliver according to defined cost, scope, schedule, quality.
- Provides PROJECT MANAGEMENT USING BOTH AGILE AND WATERFALL METHODOLOGIES.
- COST MANAGEMENT - Develops and routinely reassesses project budgets to account for variances and ensures accuracy
- RISK & ISSUE MANAGEMENT - Develops and manages project risk and issue management plans.
- QUALITY MANAGEMENT - Defines processes and standards around governance, communication, and quality.
- CHANGE REQUEST MANAGEMENT - Identifies and develops strategy for changes in scope, schedule, and cost.
- INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT - Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
- FIVE (5+) YEARS OF IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
- EXPERIENCED IN SDLC AND AGILE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT processes for designing systems, creating functional/technical specifications, development and testing.
- ABILITY TO MANAGE LARGE COMPLEX PROJECTS, INVOLVING MULTIPLE IT AND BUSINESS TEAMS UNDER A MATRIX MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE.
- Experience with managing project budgets and schedules, reporting progress to management.
- ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND AND COMPREHEND COMPLEX IT PROJECTS, IN ORDER TO RECOGNIZE PROJECT COMMUNICATION/DESIGN ISSUES.
- ABILITY TO WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH IT LEADERS AND DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION SUPPORT TEAMS.
