IT Project Manager (Brussels)

ROQ (Regaining Operational Quality)'s goal is launching short and long term actions in order to improve the IT operational run stability.
The required actions are of various natures and durations in the area of change management, communication, processes improvement, organizational changes, infrastructure transformation projects, measurement of KPIs.
These actions are organized in tracks and involves the whole IT organization.
We are looking for a IT Project Manager who will start 2 projects in this context:
- The installation of VBLOCK in our new data centers.
- The creation of a new Linux Build.

Function Description
The IT Project Manager is responsible for:
- Identify, Describe and Assign "SMART" objectives to stakeholders for execution of project and team work where team members are in a functional line rather than a hierarchical line.
- Apply Best-in-Class industry Project Management guidelines, methodologies (i.e. WBS, SWOT analysis, …)
- Build and Get validation of timeline, work plan against requirements and constraints.
- Ensure projects are completed within a certain set of restraints (quality, time, money, people and materials).
- Ensure projects fulfil to company guidelines, regulations and policies.
- Ensure that projects are on track in term of milestones met and dedicated/shared resources availability.
- Ensure that project deliverables are compliant with expected requirements and delivered on time.

The IT Project Manager will also :
- Conduct regular driving/steering meeting.
- Have the ability to structure and write Meeting Minutes.
- Challenge project stakeholders on current or foreseen issues.
- Assess project related risks.
- Continuously monitor projects progress against objectives, status, time lines and expected outcomes.
- Ensure regular accurate reporting to Management at different levels (Operational, Strategic, Exec, …).
- Motivate the project team and any involved stakeholder.
- Build strong relationships to get the most out of their project team.
- Think in ways outside of the norm and identify multiple solutions to problems.

Experience
10+ years in Project Management

Technical Experience
Mandatory
Project planning & resourcing tools.

° VBLOCK
° Linux
° Clarity/Open Workbench.

Business Experience
Mandatory
° Sound knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
° Experience in defining governance, target operating model processes.
° Strong knowledge of presentation methodology and rules (Minto's principle, etc)
° Experience in transformation/deployment projects in large organizations.

Preferable
Experience in Project Management in general IT infrastructure domains/activities (Mainframe, Unix, Windows, Network data/voice, Database, Web, Middleware, ATM, deployment)

Soft skills
° Good analytical skills:
o Able to quickly understand a context, an approach and key strategic Business objectives, and translate them into IT specifications & deliverables.
° Strong written and spoken communication skills:
o Able to translate this in clear and structured project documents and actions plan/tasks
° Strong project management skills:
o Able to plan tasks and monitor the project progress with several stakeholders.
