For our Client form the banking area we are looking for
IT PROJECT MANAGER
Duration: 12 months
Location: Zurich
Project description:
We are looking for someone to strengthen our team in the IT Credit Risk Wealth Management area. Our applications are used to support our business in deriving the right credit decisions and monitor the credit usage in day-to-day business. Our applications are used world wide in 15+ countries. The current initiatives include functional upgrades of the decision application as well as further rollouts to various locations..
Task & Responsibilities:
As an experienced Project Manager you are end to end accountable for the project delivery. You collaborate and work closely with your business partners, IT domain manager, internal IT staff, external consultants, support units as well as with the IT infrastructure departments.
This includes:
. to lead and coordinate the project team
. to plan, organize, control and report all project work and risks
. to ensure the project delivery stays within scope, time and budget
- to lead requirement management and release management
. managing of stakeholders and their interests and establishing effective communication channels with them.
Required Experience/Skills:
. Master degree or equivalent (with the main focus in Information Technology)
. Minimum 5 years experience and proven track record in project management within the financial services industry, preferably in a global firm
. At least 5 years of project management experience in larger projects (5+ people)
. Proven knowledge of project management processes, methods and standards, Agile, iterative (preferred with Certification)
. Strong organizational skills with disciplined and structured approach
. General IT knowledge in the area of Unix, Oracle, and Java
. Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, both in English and German
. Strong leadership skills with assertiveness
. Good understanding of Credit Risk within Banks
. Good knowledge of both written and spoken English
. Advantage: experience with remote development teams (off-shoring, outsourcing)
