IT Project Manager
Experienced IT Project Manager required to work on multiple global projects for an end user firm in New Jersey. Global firm with 200,000 employees worldwide.
Duties:
*Create and manage project plans, approach, scope, budget and resources
*Make project level decisions
*Measure project progress against agreed objectives
*Comply with project reporting requirements
*Coordinate project track meetings
*Manage change control process
*Identify and manage project risk factors
*Escalate unresolved issues to the PMO
Skills Required:
*Experience managing large scale IT projects
*6 - 8 years' experience in project management
*Proven experience working in a Matrix management environment
*Strategic thinker with history working autonomously
*Hands on experience managing multiple projects
*Strong project management skills - organising, prioritising and execution
*History using Microsoft Office applications (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)
*Ability to schedule project meetings and record the minutes
*History building affective business relationships
*Experience working with subject matter leaders
*Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - as well as a strong attention to detail
*Flexibility to travel when required
PMP certification or other industry recognised certification is an advantage
