PROJECT COORDINATOR/PMO - DUBLIN WEST
Our client is recruiting for a Project Coordinator/PMO to join their team based in Dublin West. This is a contract role, due to start ASAP and run until the end of 2015. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Project Manager to assist with large IT projects. Ideally, the Project Coordinator will have 2/3 years experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Coordination of project status, reporting, financials, and designated project management of internal operational initiatives. Supporting the implementation, development, and control of best practices for IT Project Management throughout the organisation.
Supporting Project Managers to deliver all IT projects within the PMO portfolio
Communicating the PMO Methodology, standards and techniques to the appropriate staff.
Developing best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone/deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.
Reviewing budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Accepting and assessing status reports, change requests, and requirement documentation to ensure smooth project progression
Conducting Project post mortems and creating recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Skills required:
* 3/5 years Project Co/ordinator experience.
* Must have worked in a large/medium enterprise environment
* Ideally Banking or finance exposure
* Must show experience in the use of Sharepoint and Microsoft tools.
