IT Program Manager - Marketing

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manages marketing projects consisting of web marketing, online, and direct strategies, with analytics, social media, and collaboration.
- Enhances existing websites, building out analytics dashboards, enhancing and deploying social and collaboration capabilities.
- Interacts with Tech Team and other PMs and is accountable for the overall execution of the projects.
- Delivers business value across multiple projects that combine into a program executed against a specific platform or around a business process using industry best practices for project management.
- Drives overall schedule and budget alignment to program commitments.
- Coordinates interdependencies across project-related activities.
- Defines and manages a program plan/roadmap.
- Oversees Project Managers that are driving project to baselined schedules and approved budgets.
- Initiates/kicks off individual projects with the Project Manager.
- Drives customer requirements and project scope definition.
- Drives new request quoting process.
- Provides appropriate scope oversight and leveraging change controls on the project.
- Instills a change management philosophy to project deployment and adoption.
- Recognizes potential risks and develops and tracks mitigation plans across projects.
- Owns the relationship between internal and external development teams and internal business partners/customers.

Owns project vendor relationships related to the execution of the project. - Oversees consistent, thorough and concise project communication appropriately targeted to audiences from the project team to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Delivers Program level status and supports regular Senior Leadership Team reviews.
- Supports a continuous improvement mindset within the team.

SKILLS

Required Skills and Experience:

- 8+ years project management including multiple successful execution of large projects.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex business organizations that are involved in project execution.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
- Demonstrated strong decision-making skills and good judgment in the face of ambiguous obligations and requirements.
- Specific experience with marketing/web based projects or marketing lead management and process improvements.
- Experience with Change Management methodologies such as LaMarsh.
- Experience mentoring and guiding Project Managers.
- Experience with roadmap management and program governance.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and works streams simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience with MS Project or other comparable tools.
- Undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, technology or related field minimum; MBA a plus.
- PMI certification a plus.
