IT Program Manager

IT Program Manager needed!

One of my key clients, based in Brussels, are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the rollout of upgraded Managed Services (Infrastructure, Workplace and Service Desk).

My client's external vendor is their supplier for Workplace, Infrastructure (data centre/SAP) and Service Desk managed services. They are currently in discussions for a new 5 year contract that will include a number of transformations that will have to be rolled out over 2018 and 2019.

These will include:
- Cross functional services 'upgrades' (service desk, processes, service desk, service tooling)
- Windows upgrade of 6000+ workstations
- Infrastructure renewal and technical upgrades for SAP and other business applications

They are therefore looking for a Technical Program Manager to coordinate the rollout with the vendor (primary assignment) and lead up to 2 project managers who will lead the 2 main Infrastructure and Workplace streams of the program. The Technical Program Manager will also project-lead some of the cross functional services upgrades within the rollout program.

To be suitable for this roll you will have:
- Strong IT project/program management skills (developing a road map, prioritising the locations for the new service rollout, tracking budget etc)
- Prior experience in such large technical project/program (deployment of infra/workplace managed services)
- Background/good technical understanding of infrastructure (data centres - SAP), and workplace management and ideally cross functional services.
- Ability to coordinate and challenge 3rd party vendors based on contractual agreement
- Comfortable and effective when reporting at Executive level
- Drive and autonomy

Key Information:

Location: Brussels
Rate: €750 - €850 per day
Start date: Immediate
Languages required: English
