IT Production Support - (Oracle, SQL, Unix/Linux)

Production Support - CFO IT wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

The Production Support Team provides a portfolio of services, which includes 1st and 2nd level support for the CFO systems and applications.

YOUR TASKS:

- Monitoring of scheduled batch jobs, as well as the identification of process improvements
- Responsibility for the OLAs and SLAs between IT to IT and IT to business
- Full root cause analysis and a detailed investigation of issues in the agreed time
- Ownership for the IT/incident tickets open in the area of responsibility
- Subject Matter Expert for one or more applications in the application portfolio

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- University (or equivalent) qualification in an IT/Scientific subject with 5 years' plus experience in an IT support role (ideally in front or Middle Office in IB)
- Practical experience with Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting and experience with SQL (ideally Oracle/Sybase)
- ITIL V3 certificate and Batch/Control-M experience is a strong plus
- Skills in Incident-/Problem-, Release- and Change Management (from a production perspective)
- Ability to do on-call duty and for working in non-peak hours (bank holidays/weekends)
- Languages: Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
