IT PROBLEM MANAGER - BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH with DUTCH and/or FRENCH is an asset

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum bachelor degree in an IT related area, or similar by experience
- Broad ICT knowledge(WAS, JAVA/J2EE, AIX, Unisys-Mainframe, Oracle-DB)
- Very good understanding and awareness of the ITIL Problem and Incident management process and procedures
- ITIL V3 certification is desirable
- Flexibility (on-call)
- Customer oriented with an excellent service attitude
- Analytical with a synthetic turn of mind
- Strong individual with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels
- Good organisational skills and the ability to motivate people across the organisation to provide solutions
- An excellent communicator, who can be assertive towards multiple stakeholders
- Able to work in highly stressful situations
- Organized and follow a problem-solving and results-oriented approach

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Follow up of all problems through their entire life cycle with special attention on P1 and Major Problems
- Internal communication and escalation to senior management Operations & IT Infrastructure and Risk Management
- Ensure efficient flow of Problem tickets through Problem Management process
- Enforce process and standards, and work to improve process
- Co-ordinate with Incident Manager for all activities necessary to detect problems
- Manage and co-ordinate all activities necessary to identify the root cause, initiate resolution of problems, identify preventative actions and Requests for Change
- Content management of the known errors database
