IT on-Site Engineer (m/f)

-Operate and maintain Checkpoint environment (Provider-1 R75.40) and Juniper environment (ScreenOS 6.4 + NSM)
-Troubleshooting on issues
-Change/ add/ delete rules/ routes
-Coordinate more complex changes with the customer (e.g. new interface/DMZ)
-Work in incidents/tickets regarding the firewall environment
-Keep technical documentation up to date
-Approve and open Change Requests in ISIS, review Change design and schedule with the customer
-Approve Change Requests on behalf of the customer in the ISIS portal and attend the CAB to discuss upcoming changes
-Inform the Security Operation Center SOC about Changes planned by the customer which will be implemented by the customer (CR in ISIS) and regarding the Change Request (e.g. affects SOC services, security issues, etc.)
-Plan changes as part of the SOC operations team (scheduling, Change Design, etc.)
-Coordinate change implementation with the SOC and customer (what to be performed by the SOC, what onsite, during / out of business hours, etc..)
-Implement changes on Juniper and Checkpoint during CET business hours
-Overall Process ownership and responsible for permanent process improvements
-Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices
-Fluent English
-Experience in working in a large international environment and with a Security Operation Center SOC is beneficial
