IT Monitoring Architect & Technical Expert (Brussels)

Je functie: Context of the mission
Fulfil the role of Monitoring architectbe the evangelist of the monitoring vision in the different teams.

Objective of the job
° Ensure the integration of a global vision on the monitoring architecture within IT
° Manage and support the monitoring infrastructure (PowerShell, SCOM, Application Performance Management tooling, …)
° Configuration of the SCOM Management Packs for the technologies in-use by AG Insurance
° Coaching of IT Engineers & Operators
° Guide a "Monitoring Community" consisting of performance experts from multiple IT-domains
° Define and implement solutions targeting proactive and predictive alerts
° Support in the consolidation of the different monitoring platforms
° Integration of the monitoring system with the ITIL-processes & ITSM-tooling
° Incident Management
° Implementation of event management
° Implementation of service level management
° continuous improvement of the ITIL-processes
° Definition of standards & guidelines related to monitoring and alerting

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
(Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

Master in IT or equivalent by experience
