IT INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT - DATA CENTER
LOCATION: OSLO, NORWAY
DURATION: INITIALLY 6 MONTHS + POSSIBLE FOR EXTENSION
JOB DESCRIPTION:
ABILITY TO DESIGN AND GUIDE SOLUTION FOR THE BELOW AREAS:
- Virtualization
- Strong knowledge of x86 and Unix technologies
- Strong knowledge of storage and data backup solution
- Experience in data center consolidation and optimization
- Ability to create IT infrastructure roadmap
- Strong knowledge of networking (Converged Network, LAN, WAN)
- Strong in understanding of designing security
- Good understanding of End user computing
- Good Knowledge of Data Center Concepts, Industry trends, Tools and Best practices
- Application awareness could include SharePoint, Exchange, Database, Middleware, Web service
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Certification such as TOGAF is a value add
- Need to handle a team of architects
- Experience in manufacturing/research industry would be plus point
