IT Infrastructure Administrator Job

IT INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ST. LOUIS, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The team supports all site installs, moves, adds, and changes for company's users and groups.
- Create and maintain corporate telecommunications databases including end-user switching and specialized common services databases.
- Software pushes to users, programming and deleting phones, creating voicemails, password resets, and training users on voice equipment.
- Analyze and resolve support issues for voice infrastructure.
- Configure VoIP parameters on switching and routing platforms to include static dial plan call routing, VLAN, SPT, OoS, and other VoIP-related configuration parameters.
- Incorporates knowledge of Unified Messaging such as voice, e-mail, and fax messaging over IP and single number reach.
- Installs, configures, and documents software and customize to customer requirements.
- Diagnoses network and application performance issues to recommend and implement solutions.
- Implementation, configuration, and support of the Telecom environment including PBX, recording, voicemail, call center and branch facilities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 2-3 years experienced usually required
- Intermediate voice infrastructure support/troubleshooting knowledge
- Intermediate understanding of Cisco Call Manager and Voice Gateways
- Previous experience of working with Telco carriers to resolve circuit issues
- Strong technical aptitude, a desire to learn and a commitment to customer service
- Ability to multitask and be agile when multiple problems arise
- Cisco certifications (such as CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, and CCVP) desired.
- Operational knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, UCCE, and Unity Connection Voicemail (preferred)
- Understanding of Cisco IP communicator, Cisco ViewMail for Outlook and carrier grade PBXs (preferred)
