IT Hosting Sourcing Specialists

Our Central Government client is looking for an experienced IT Hosting Sourcing Specialist.

This role is to be based in Warrington with occasional travel required. This post will be initially until the beginning of December 2013 and is an immediate requirement.

YOU WILL HAVE A WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE WORKING IN COMPLEX IT ENVIRONMENTS AND A SPECIALIST WITHIN THE AREA OF AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES:

- Data Centre Hosting
- Mid-range Technologies
- Mainframe Technologies

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Hosting Delivery/Sourcing Specialists

The IT Hosting Sourcing Specialist will be accountable for developing the optimum sourcing approach that meets the strategic ambitions of the programme measured against value for money, service quality, and future flexibility. You will have an in-depth up-to date view of the current Hosting market place and supplier landscape and the ability to translate and overlay market opportunity into solutions that meet the clients business & IT strategy.

IN ESSENCE THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Developing the interlock with other hosting work streams and programme strands.
- Supporting and providing the Programme/Strand Lead with thought leadership and market in-sight within hosting solutions.
- Producing collateral for workshops, Executive updates

THE IT HOSTING SOURCING SPECIALIST WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE FOLLOWING DELIVERABLES THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS.

- Hosting Strand Sourcing Strategy & Options Analysis.
- Commercial Negotiation,Strategy & Plans.
- Supplier Engagement Strategy & Plans.
- Stakeholder Management Plans.
- Business Case & Financial Modelling.
- Service Definitions & Descriptions.
- Proposed Charging & Commercial Models.
- Service Level Requirements.
- Financial & Budgetary Plans.
- Risk, Issues, Action, Decision Logs.
- Progress Reports & Executive Updates.
- Exit Plans.
- Transition Plans.
- Stakeholder Presentations
