A IT DEV ENGINEER (JAVA) for one of our leading tech clients urgently needs a IT Dev Engineer (Java) for a long term contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The successful IT Dev Engineer (Java) will be responsible for developing applications within a complex and dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Software engineering experience.
- You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code in a complex environment.
- Knowledge of Java 7/8, Elastic, REST API
- Knowledge of JavaScript/Dojo would be handy.
- Good knowledge of infrastructure
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, Eclipse, Crucible, Fortify, SVN/Git, Jenkins, Maven, Selenium
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps;
CONTRACT: 6-12 months + Likely extension
LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands
