IT Desktop Support Job

DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN needed for a long term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Windows experience
- MS Office products
- General knowledge of network and local printers.
- Standard Desktop/laptop repair, networked printers, blackberry, and other mobile services troubleshooting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be part of a team of IT professionals who provide in-house technical PC hardware and software support for internal associates
- Responding to associate service calls to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve those problems
- Work with a variety of equipment and issues including Windows Servers, desktops, laptops, network, connectivity, software issues, and our state-of-the-art data center
- Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems
- Work on call at least once every 2 months and be available for afterhours work when on call.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have Security+ Certifications.
- Must have a final Secret SSBI clearance or above needed to obtain a Secret and NNPI Admin accounts
- Two (2) year IT degree or equivalent experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Independent, self-starting attitude
- Hands on experience with PC operations, preferred
