IT Control/Risk Manager - Banking (Long Term Contract)
Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. We are currently looking for an IT Control/Risk Manager to join our global banking client in Geneva. This will be a long term relation.
THE ROLE:
This role is responsible for managing some IT Controls coverage for our global banking Client in Geneva and is expected to ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risks that could compromise the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the technology resources including data, networks, applications and infrastructure.
This role is also responsible for managing key relationships, assist partners in identifying, assessing, and managing IT Controls/Risks for both new and existing technology. In addition this role might participate in Private Banking wide and firmwide work relating to Information and Technology Controls.
YOU WILL:
* Provide expertise in the full range of Bank Technology controls practices
* Provide guidance and direction for Bank Technology on all aspects of application risk & controls
* Work closely with Bank Technology groups to ensure quality and consistency of Control
* Self Assessment (CSA) reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing
* Provide hands-on support of testing activities, where necessary, to support efforts.
* Ensure successful remediation programs are in place to address any gaps arising from those reviews.. Work in coordination with risk management to execute corporate programs, leveraging key processes such as Re-certifications, Third Party Provider Reviews, Technical Recovery Action Plans, etc.
* Plan, implement, and maintain the corporate technology controls program for the Bank.
* Define and execute a technology controls awareness strategy, leveraging internal resources and toolsets as appropriate.
* Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trusted partner to the Bank Technology Managers/Teams.
* Ensure that technology control issues/gaps are documented clearly and that remediation plans are developed to address.
* Build a culture and climate focused on the pro-active awareness of, and continuous improvement in, the technology risk environment, and implementation of adequate controls.
* Work with business & technology partners to investigate and resolve control incidents or violations that may arise.
* Conduct daily controls review, such as User Requests review, Policies Exception reviews
* Conduct ongoing assessments of the control environment for technology and technology operations. Ownership of processes, and ongoing Review for improvement of controls, based on regulatory, audit or production indicators
* Production of management reporting, including appropriate information controls metrics
YOUR PROFILE:
* Minimum of 6-8 years of IT work experience
* English speaking
* Detailed knowledge of IT Control Policies and project life cycles
* Worked in a role specific to risk management, audit, information security, or business continuity
* Experience in risk management, consulting or audit
* Related professional certification, such as a CISA, CISM, ISO27001 lead auditor or
* CISSP
* Knowledge of financial services
* Strong client relationship and influencing skills
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Highly self-motivated/works independently
* Excellent presentation/presence in group settings & with Management.
