IT Consultant/Avaloq

For one of our clients in the financial services industry we are currently looking for an experienced IT CONSULTANT, who is going to support the delivery of projects around Avaloq. A good understanding of front to Back Office banking processes is very important.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working closely with the business (wealth management, asset management, risk management, risk modelling) in order to analyze new requirements and needed functionalities within Avaloq
Working closely with IT (architects, developers, testers, release managers) as a technical consultant/SME to ensure that new functionalities are delivered on scope
Extending the existing parameterization of Avaloq
Assuring quality, automated testing and release management
Updating technical documentation
Coordination with test and release managers for smooth operational service throughout the project

Your profile:

Strong IT and consulting background, ideally in complex Avaloq projects
Strong analytical skills
Experience or certification in Avaloq is mandatory
Good understanding of Object Oriented development, relational databases and application development
Banking experience and good understanding of front to Back Office processes
Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
English written and spoken
