IT Consultant

Roc Search is currently recruiting for an IT consultant to work for a client of mine based in Stavanger, Norway. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a global organization onsite with one of their key clients.

Requirements:

*Team lead experience of teams across multiple geographical locations across Norway and the USA
*Daily activities include planning, organizing, reporting and following up the hardware require (BreakFix and IMAC) in accordance with SLA's and agreed expectations.
*Good verbal and written English is mandatory

Technical requirements:

*Knowledge of Vendor Management, Hardware deliveries (HP Servers and Blades, IBM, Cisco Routers and Switches, EMC and NetApp Storage devices), Spare parts & OEM in a Global IT environment
*Cisco Certification, HP Certifications (blades and server series)
*Hands-on with HP, Cisco hardware breakfix, copper and optical fiber cabling/patching.
*Basic IT architectural understanding
*Domain Knowledge : Windows, Unix, Networks,Security etc.
*IT Infrastructure (DC) knowledge is a must
*Should showcase capability to handle hardware breakfix and IMAC and follow-up on their deliveries
*Quick learning of Customer business requirements
*ITIL knowledge a plus
