JUNIOR IT PURCHASING BUYER NEEDED FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOH'S CLIENT, SAP AMERICA LOCATED IN NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Obtain quotes, examine bids & make awards for IT hardware, software, maintenance and IT related services.
- Provide detailed SRM instructions/Material Masters (write up's) to Lob's and validate requisitions as they come through.
- Manage pricing and product life cycles with preferred vendors via Preferred Supplier Price List Process. (This process covers all preferred vendors that have products represented in multiple NA catalog views).
- Responsible for the integrity of multiple North American (company code) views of the IT (and Server) Catalogs in SRM. (Including SAP Canada).
- Coordinate the effort to create Material Masters/Info Records for new and replacements of discontinued products with SAP Global MM Team, LOB's and Vendors. (This requires in depth knowledge of detailed internal SAP information - including MCK's, Material Groups, Serial Number Profiles, Account Assignments and Approval Workflow).
- Correct PO's processed without SOW's when installation or site work is being performed and re-educating the LOB's on the correct procedures.
- Provide Hardware, Software, Maintenance & IT Services procurement support/direction to requestors.
- Issue RFP's and complete the bid analysis and Purchase Recommendation for IT related Projects.
- Complete required tasks when a company is acquired - issue SA, SOW, etc. when needed.
- Coordinate, participate and document various IT related conference calls.
- Provide support with Audio Visual build outs though out North America.
- Provide vacation coverage, interact with entire GPO at a global level, work with A/P, GCM IT, Asset Management, Fixed Assets, OPC and Material Management teams and other internal and external customers.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Understanding of the Procurement cycle.
- Ability to multi-task in dynamic environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong MS Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
