IT BUSINESS CONSULTANT (BANKING SECTOR)

For one of Europe's largest Banking clients, we are currently seeking an IT Business Consultant/Business Manager with expertise in creating financial overviews and reports.

This will be a stable 1-2 year contract in Amsterdam with potential option to extend.

THE IDEAL IT BUSINESS CONSULTANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- IT Business Consultant or Business manager
- 2-3 years' experience
- Interested in IT, understanding of IT, does not need a technical background
- HBO or WO degree
- work together and be independent
- ambitious (grow after 2-3 years)

THE ROLE:

- In this role you have to work together with the chapter leads, engineers, tech leads, business people and the area lead and different departments to gather information.
- You have to be able to make financial overviews and reports.
- Have a good overview of who does what and who sits where to be able to connect the right people to get things done.
- Need to be persistent/persuasive and also friendly to get the information you need.
- Need to be able to pick up the phone and call people to gather information
- Be very service minded and convince people you are there to help and assist.
- Have a good understanding of complex environments or be able to learn this fast.
- Be ambitious
- Be prepared to do things that was not planned that day and work with last minute projects
- Think out of the box and find solutions
- Also do things like ordering and arranging lunches and make appointments in agendas, arrange meetings and make notes
- You are a organizer with an overview
- Work close with the management
- Deep dive in their department but also do simple things.
