IT Business Analyst, Securities, Clearing

On behalf of one of our clients in the financial industry in Zurich, we are searching for an experienced IT Business Analyst with background in equities clearing, settlements and collateral management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Senior Business Analyst will join a major migration project in the company focused on building a new system for clearing equities and derivatives
- 30% of the role will be looking into enhancements of the current system for clearing equities
- 70% of the focus will be on merging the current system with a new one which was recently bought
- Gathering requirements, writing functional and non-functional requirements
- Looking into the test results and evaluating if those are matching what the business requires
- Working closely with external development vendor team

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Strong IT BUSINESS ANALYST, solid experience with main Business Analysis deliverables - FUNCTIONAL AND NON FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS, SCENARIOS, MAPPING OUT OF DATA, ETC.
- Strong knowledge of main functions of CLEARING, their purpose; SETTLEMENTS; COLLATERAL MANAGEMENT
- Experience with CLEARING OF EQUITIES is a must
- BACKGROUND IN A CLEARING HOUSE is a must
- Product knowledge with NASDAQ would be very useful
- Knowledge of SECURITIES
- Experience with SECOM would be a plus
- Background in AGILE projects would be an advantage
- Experience with UAT TESTING
- Driver of change with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communicator
- Fluent English
