IT Business Analyst OTC (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

IT BUSINESS ANALYST OTC (CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Gathering, refining and elaborating on Business and Regulatory requirements
- Production of quality documentation including Business Requirements and Technical Specifications
- Ongoing business engagement during all phases of the project from initial requirements gathering into production
- Working with the development and QA teams in an agile approach to deliver requirements in a number of iterations
- Coordination and collaboration with your counterparts across applications and teams - including other BAs, project managers, testing teams, developers, business sponsors

REQUIREMENTS

- Working experience as a Business Analyst
- OTC product knowledge
- Experience with relevant tools and best practices eg Enterprise Architect, Use-case analysis, QualityCenter, JIRA, Subversion
- Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Banking IT experience (especially regulatory driven) with exposure to both the Business and IT highly desirable
- Specific Regulatory Reporting experience is a plus
- Data analysis and modelling skills (XML and SQL) is a plus
- Proven ability to work alone or as part of a team, can take direction but also show initiative. Able to work as part of a global team

CONTRACT DETAILS

- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
- Daily rate: 750 - 760 Swiss francs (all inclusive)
