For a project at our clients site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a
IT BUSINESS ANALYST - LEGAL/EDISCOVERY FRAMEWORK (5585)
You will be working in a dynamic and growing team which delivers technology solutions to both Group General Counsel and Group Investigations using state of the art software both from major vendors in the field and in-house developments.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE AS AN IT BUSINESS ANALYST WITH A STRONG TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
- FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE IN CREATING FUNCTIONAL/BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATIONS
- UNDERSTANDING OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE
- DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE IN LEGAL OR EDISCOVERY FRAMEWORK
- Experience applying business analysis techniques such as information gathering, surveying, analysing and evaluating processes products and services
- Knowledge of SQL or any other query/Scripting language would be an asset
- Able to influence and engage individuals and teams to achieve goals
- Strong team player based on collaboration, commitment and knowledge
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
- Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews and develop requirement specifications
- Support the project manager in planning and running the projects
- Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
- Support the business engineers by describing the business processes and requirements and support quality assurance and testing in order to ensure requirements are met
- Develop subject matter expertise (SME) on the applications, environments and underlying business processes
