IT Business Analyst Job

IT BUSINESS ANALYST needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Analysis of various business systems
- Strong English communication skills
- "Bridge" between IT and Business stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs
- Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions and steps required to develop or modify solutions
- Develops detailed business requirements documentation - adept at eliciting requirements from Business
- Facilitates Business Process Model discussions and drafts models via Visio or some other BPMN tool
- Drives Fit Gap Analysis
- Develops manuals/guides and job aids for end users and uploads to SharePoint and/or Portal for end user communications
- Identifies key business and system impacts
- Provides continuous feedback on process related problems/issues and makes recommendations to correct the problem
- Works under general supervision; reports to a project leader or manager
- Serves as the "bridge" between various business stakeholders and Information Technology

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Highly inquisitive in nature
- Comfortable with certain degree of creativity and latitude
- Able to navigate competing priorities
- Comfortable with a faced paced environment
- Able to support software system transition from current system to new system
- Precise, highly detail oriented
- Exceptional at communication (both written and verbal)
- Able to quickly grasp new concepts and clearly articulate them

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prior Duke Energy Experience preferred
- Minimum of two to four (2-4) years of systems project support experience in a large organization
- Excellent Microsoft product skills - Office, Visio, Project, SharePoint
- Strong interpersonal skills/team player/able to multi task as needed
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
