IT - Business Analyst

We are looking to find a responsible and open minded candidate who adds value to our client's IT team. Our client is an international Swiss Bank.

BUSINESS ENGINEER FOR SECURITIZED NOTES TRADING

KEY AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interact with business representatives in Trading, Product Control, Financial Accounting, Credit Risk and Operations
- Participate in or lead gathering of the business requirements and their documentation
- Proactively propose and document pragmatic IT solutions satisfying the given timelines, requirements and budget constraints
- Organize and lead UAT together with the IT testing team and business testers
- Provide 3RD LEVEL SUPPORT as requested by the service desk
- Extend the existing Structure Notes product offering to more underlying and payoff strategies

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- University degree in computer science or other scientific degree
- 8+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar professional working experience
- Deep knowledge of Securitized Structured Notes products with cross asset underlying
- Front to back STP implementation of investment products, as wells as understanding of the following business functions: SALES AND EXECUTION, TRADING AND TRADING RISK, MARKET RISK AND CREDIT RISK, PRODUCT CONTROL AND FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING, OPERATIONS, CLIENT REPORTING, REGULATORY REPORTING
- Decent knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL as well as programming in JAVA and in C# is an advantage
- Familiar with test-driven development and also mutual test methodologies.
- Experience in DESIGNING MULTI-TIER ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS including, but not limited to, web services, databases (ORACLE, MS SQL), message queues and the like
- Fluency in English, German knowledge is an asset
