IT Business Analyst

We are actually looking for an IT Business Analyst for Geneva.

Contracting role for 3 months followed by a permanent contract

Fluent in French & English is a must

Responsibilities:

- Act as an interface between the business units and the IT Department in identifying business needs and functional requirements for IT solutions
- Documenting functional specifications and proposed solutions and arriving at an agreement between all stakeholders
- Work closely with IT developers in translating functional specifications and business needs into technical specifications
- Provide estimates of the effort necessary to complete all task of a project
- Participate in the testing of applications
- Provide help desk support and training to users
- Determine cross-system integration needs and provide suggestions for the evolution of existing IT solutions

Profile:

- University degree in a relevant area (information technology, business analysis).
- Doesn't need to have deep technical IT knowledge but should have general familiarity with web and database application development and IT project management
- Ability to become quickly familiar with new functional domains
- Excellent drafting skills with technical documentation in English, including use of functional diagrams
- Good communication and negotiation skills and team spirit. Someone who listens attentively to what others are saying, is able to see things from their point of view and anticipate their needs and constraints
- Extensive experience in working in an international business environment
- Creative and highly motivated conceptual thinker
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Awareness of organizational and human aspects in addition to the technical and business dimensions
- Ability to see the wider context while also handling effectively all the details
- Interest in improving existing solutions and anticipating future needs
- Minimum 5 years experiences as a business analyst in a similar post
