IT BA - Integration Analyst

Overview of the department/team (team size, backgrounds, personalities:

. CTO EUS Embedded into the NIDEC Program (Win10 and VDI Transformation) running stream 5 Application Virtualization with closed guidance from iDesktop and Application Virtualization Product and Service Manager (Hiring Manager, Program Manager, and the whole Program Team as well as all the various BAU bank CTO organizations. Stakeholders are from top senior mgmt... STC Members CTO and CIO, to the Application Owner and Application Developer Groups. Also much closed interaction with our Embedded Service Provider DXC that is taking care for the currently more and more shrinking .msi end-to-end application packaging for Win7, but mainly Win10 as this is our incumbent vendor. But as part of this exercise we are also doing an analysis as to what extend we might move over eventually to a provider of application packaging that is more close to the VDI deal. 

. In general though, we are doing self-packaging as majority and with our latest automation efforts and roadmap we are even automating .msi packaging and plan to do the same for MS-APPV packaging. The functional Testing is still on the App Owner side as he must take responsibility that the application is doing what is supposed to do without any harming of other applications, the Core bank iDesktop Build nor against any regulation and/or packaging guidelines from the bank.

Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:

. Syndication, Syndication. We have many EUS internal groups (Product Mgmt. Engineering, Operations, Support etc.) Obviously we do have external provider such as application packaging factory (Embedded in our Tool MyAAPS)  
. Ability to work with various different teams, such as Application Development Groups, Application Owners, Support Roles and the Project Teams. Sometimes it is difficult to have the Fix Star to whom you have to listen to.
. Since this year 2018, with Program Manager Number 4 within Win10 who is directly also from EUS, it has become much easier to syndicate the STC content.  
. However, VDI Transformation Program to hand over VDI to WiPro has an own Program and will have an own dedicated Program Manager (that is not part of EUS) So sometimes there are conflicting messages. Important here is to listen to the hiring manager and not get involved into any political discussion. Keep low profile on engaging into such discussions and rather listen to less people and come verify any info (conflicting or confusing one) directly with your hiring manager.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

. Experience in big financial or industry companies taking care for the application service management framework 
. Requirements Management and Business Analysis of Master Requirements driven from a wished or drawn design by utilizing tools such as JIRA, Odyssey or Atlas.
. Ability to create from a Master Requirement several smaller work packages that can be allocated to various different Requirements Manager/Product Managers who own the relevant Release Cycle of a given dependency so that a Master requirement can be split into several smaller tasks ending up into the relevant various different BoW,s of the relevant Product Owners where our Master Requirement has a dependency on, in order to be engineered and executed
. Stakeholder Management on various levels (ability to define complex content into simple to be viewed and ready for decision content)
. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills (don't expect PMO to be available to describe your work. You need to be hands-on in order to be ready to present any topic, showstopper, milestone or dependency by yourself with easy to read content within the various bank and Provider WiPro relevant governance meetings.

. Must be able to effectively communicate complex concepts with vendors, customers, co-workers and management, both verbally and in writing. You must balance a self-motivated, independent work ethic with the desire to train and assist others. Organization, prioritization, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are all crucial. Most employers also look for individuals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in math and science is helpful. In addition, most analysts have technical expertise in Enterprise relevant IT Systems, Software Products (vendor or in-house grown), are able to work out the interfaces and are skilled on the trend of automation and API.
