IT Auditor - C# Developer- Short Term Contract

As a member of the Internal Audit department, we want you to share our passion about adding value to our people, customers, communities and stakeholders, providing robust independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank and having exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation.

 

As an IT Auditor - C# Developer, your main responsibilities will be:

Participating in assurance activities to assess the management and control of risk, using established audit methodologies, identifying control weaknesses and suggesting process/control improvements.

Ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with quality requirements, with the support of other team members.

Delivers on distinct areas within Internal Audit reviews and supports the team in other ad-hoc activities e.g. management dashboards, follow-up of recommendations.

Maintaining effective relationships across the business.

 

 What we will be looking for in you:

Contributes to assurance activities, assessing risks and controls (including planning activities, co-ordination and completion of fieldwork).

Ability to work effectively in an evolving and challenging environment.

Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Programming skills in C#, SQL, Visual Basic, XML and HTML and development experience for .Net Framework 3.5 and above.

Familiarity with SQL Server and the creation and maintenance of efficient database tables and schemas. 

Studying towards an accountancy or auditing qualification (CISA, ACA, ACCA, CIA, IIA).
