Job description

For one of our partners in the region of Antwerp, we are currently looking for an IT Application Project Lead. You'll be responsible for defining day-to-day IT services based upon project portfolio and technology roadmaps, service Level Management of these services by understanding and documenting the expectations of the business and measuring and continuously improving these services.

Responsibilities

- The Project Lead typically reports to a Project Manager
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects
- Take responsibility for gathering project (user and/or system) requirements, define/document solutions and associated cost pictures
- Assist in assembling project teams, identifying appropriate resources needed, helps develop and execute project plans, and assign individual responsibilities
- Sets deadlines, monitor and summarize project progress
- Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure IT commitment dates and project deliverables are met
- Assist in preparing reports for upper management regarding project status
- Responsible for the delivery of the project documentation according to the system development life cycle procedures and methodologies.
- Continued coordination (team leadership) of an Application Support Team
- Optimize support structure for the applications
- Coordinate user management and system maintenance
- Responsible for deskside coordination activities
- Manage requests for hardware/software provisioning
- Coordination of offsite team events

Required Profile

- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics or equivalent through experience
- Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
- Minimal 3 years experience in International Project Management
- 2 to 3 years' experience in Pharma
- 3 to 5 years' experience in project and/or team coordination
- Additional certification in project management and service management is a plus
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines Methodology/Certification requirements
- Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- English/Dutch spoken and written
