For our client, a well-known European bank, located in Frankfurt/Main, we are currently looking for a IT Application Expert (m/f) - Wallstreet Suite.

IT Application Expert (m/f) - Wallstreet Suite

Location: Frankfurt Main

Type of contract: unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your key tasks:

*You will join a technical team, which is responsible for providing Treasury Management System (TMS) application
support, as well as coordination and support for TMS project-related activities
*You will be responsible for the advanced technical support for the Wallstreet Suite application in all environments (test,
acceptance and production), including debugging, trouble-shooting, bug reporting and follow-up
*You will proactively contribute to Oracle database and Unix system maintenance activities in all environments
*You will be responsible for the set up, configuration and maintainance of the necessary test environments, including test
data
*You will identify new functionalities using the TMS application and contribute to the development, in close cooperation
with functional experts and the software provider
*You will support TMS project-related activities in different project phases
*You will support IT service management processes and best practices (such as ITIL) in the areas of incident
management, problem management, release management, capacity planning and service levels

Your profile:

*Masters or minimum Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or similar
*Minimum about four years of professional experience in providing IT application support for Wallstreet Suite application
*Very good knowledge of Wallstreet Suite version 7.4.x
*Ideally at least two years of work experience with Oracle databases and Unix (cluster) environments
*Experience with Python and/or Perl scripting
*Know-how regarding relevant business processes
*Basic knowledge of financial instruments (fixed income and related derivatives), structured finance (e.g. asset-backed
securities) and FX instruments
*Experience with XML, Citrix or Sybase woud be a plus
*Experience with test management support for Wallstreet Suite application as well as with the SURF testing tool would be
an advantage
*Experience with IT service management processes and best practices (such as ITIL) is nice to have
*Fluent English language skils
*Working knowledge of MS Office
*Working knowledge of market information resources (especially Bloomberg or Reuters)
