IT Analyst - Banking - Contract (Liquidity reporting, Basel III, SQL, ALMM)

An IT Analyst is required for a treasury team for a banking client of ours based in the heart of the city of London. This role has become available due to an extra resource being required to work on a liquidity reporting project that will be an initial 3 month contract with the scope for the role going well into next year for the successful candidate.

As the IT Analyst your main responsibility will be to liaise with the data warehousing team to gather requirements in line with the database needs. From the information that the IT analyst has gathered from business processes they will then be required to write the functional specifications to present to the IT team and be able to create reports based on this information. As this role will include working heavily with the data warehouse team, a strong understanding of SQL would be a great advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a great project for banking client, it will be an initial 3 month rolling contract paying up to £550 a day for the ideal candidate.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE;

Good understanding of the business analysis process within Banking

Previous experience of delivering regulatory projects in particular around liquidity

Good understanding of databases and SQL

Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to write specification to a high degree.

Banking experience is a must for this role
