IS Service Manager

On the behalf of one of our clients K2 Partnering Solutions is looking for an experienced IS Service Manager for a 6 month contract to start as soon as possible.

- Critical knowledge
- University degree in Computer Science or technical education with relevant experience
- ITIL V.3 certification
- Critical experience
- 5 years of professional experience in IT area
- Basic understanding of the Microsoft Application Development Framework (.NET)
- Basic understanding of Oracle
- Appropriate level of collaboration tool knowledge (MOSS and Sharepoint 2010/2013)

- Ability to establish and maintain relationship with senior management stakeholder in the organization
- Ability to have discussions in non-technical and business understandable language.
- Ability to think at a strategic level and to understand the service strategy required to support the business strategy
- Understand Sharepoint 2010 and 2013 as a collaboration tool and ability to have solution focussed discussions with the business and technical focussed discussion with the technical team
- Establish IS as service owner and be perceived as the IS single point of contact to report service issues. Improve relationship with senior business stakeholders
- Improve the overall quality of the services provided to the business particularly around solution development
- Ensure quality assurance is delivered by our strategic partners
- Establish problem management in his area
- Improve change management and collaborate with IS leads
