IS CONSULTANT OR INFORMATION SYSTEMS CONSULTANT
THE CONSOL ADVERT
The Company
ConSol Partners are currently looking for an experienced to work for our world famous finance client on one of their custom software projects in Brussels. The initial contract will last 12 months with strong likelihood of extension.
The Role
The work will be based on site, five days a week. ConSol Partners have a flexible budget for the right person, but above all they want someone who will be passionate about the project and is happy to relocate to Brussels to work for one of the worlds leading institutions. The job role is aimed at an experienced IS Consultant or Information Systems Consultant with excellent communication skills that has advised and assisted in areas relating to the delivery, deployment and correct use of Information Systems and their environments.
The successful candidate will have some of the following skills:
- Proven expertise with Information Systems.
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as RUP.
- Experience with COBIT or UML principles a bonus.
- Implementation of technical studies, expertise and evaluations related to Information Systems.
- Establishment of quality plans, service agreements and quality issues related to information systems.
- Good understanding of the security aspects related to Information Systems.
- Competence in preparing studies combined with ability to host high level presentations.
- Experience with different architectures a plus.
- Experience on projects for European Institutions a bonus.
- Fluency in English.
- Good French a bonus but not essential.
