IS Analyst

Annual Salary - £22,443 - £28,922

Full Time - 37 Hours Per Week

Permanent Contract

Based in Chelmsford County Hall

The Information Services End User Computing Team has a great opportunity for a highly motivated IS Analyst working within our 2nd Line Support function. Your role will be to ensure that all support is performed with minimal business impact on the customer and within agreed Service Level Agreements. You will be expected to provide 2nd line technical support, taking ownership and resolving incidents/service requests in a professional and efficient way. You will fix issues either using remote management tools or on-site visit.

To be considered for the role;

You will have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems in particular Windows 7, MS Office 2010, Exchange, Active Directory, networking experience, PC hardware and software setup, configuration and troubleshooting.
Any previous experience of supporting mobile devices such as Ipads/Iphones and Blackberry devices would be an advantage, as would experience of administering Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES 5 & BES10).

You must have at least 3 years experience of working in a large busy ITIL based IT department at 2nd line support level and a Microsoft certification would be desirable. You will have strong customer support skills, be passionate about technology and possess excellent troubleshooting skills. You must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision, is highly motivated and able to work in a pressurised environment and takes a proactive approach to dealing with their work load.

A full clean driving licence is required as you may be required to drive to various parts of the County from time to time.
