IPS Configuration Support Engineer

Currently they are seeking candidates for a contract position available for a McAfee IPS Configuration and Support specialist to join an elite team within one of their largest government accounts. Open to all candidates with McAfee IPSs experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Maintain current Departmental IPS fleet including any configuration and maintenance tasks and/or necessary improvements to current configuration
- Tune the rule set of the McAfee IPS to enhance the protection provided to Departmental systems
- Develop workflow procedures and SOPs to enable better continual maintenance and monitoring of the McAfee IPS fleet by Cyber Security Systems Assurance Section and Service and Delivery Branch technical staff

Previous Experience required:

- In the deployment and configuration of McAfee IPSs
- In monitoring and responding to IPS incidents
- in general Internet systems incident response
- In securing and maintaining Internet facing systems
