IOS Developer, iPAD Developer, Objective C, Git, Cocoa

My client is seeking to recruit an iOS/iPAD developer for a 6 month contract to be based in the city of London ! You will bring the below skill set and be working with some of the industries leading architects, PM's and Developers:

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF POSITION:

* Start-up mentality and capacity to handle a number of diverse tasks
* Active interest in developing state-of-the-art new media products, including social media
and web applications, mobile applications and gaming products
* One or more commercial applications on the App Store
* Deep experience Objective C, Git
* Strong background in developing rich user applications

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop software applications, unit tests, installation programs and test automation code
in an Agile environment.
* Work closely with UX/UI designers to develop new, efficient modules for a highly
interactive, visually exciting app.
* Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning
meetings, reviews and retrospectives.
* Apply good technical practices such as continuous integration, test automation, source
code control and review.
* Provide day-to-day issue support for custom-developed software platform and product
* Design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications
* Coordination with internal and external teams as required

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* B.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science or related subject
* Minimum of 2 years hands-on iOS experience
* Excellent knowledge of Objective C, Cocoa, XCode
* Experience of Instruments for profiling and memory management
* Several successful app/social media integrations (Twitter, Facebook)
* Experience of JSON and RESTful API type communications
* Built at least one iPad application
* Worked extensively with UI and UX teams
