Investments Suitability Review

MY PRIVATE BANKING CLIENT IN LONDON ARE SEEKING AN INVESTMENT SUITABILITY REVIEW OFFICER TO START IMMEDIATELY.

6 MONTHS CONTRACT (MAY WELL EXTEND FURTHER), £300-350P/D DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

This position is responsible for assisting the Investment Controls team with undertaking a variety of review and monitoring activities across the breadth of services, ensuring a robust suitability framework.

- Perform detailed reviews of client files to ensure regulatory standards are being observed
- Review of trade activity to ensure proper documentation of advice and overall suitability of trades
- Preparation of reports including identification of trends and key risks
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Business Management, Product and the wider Chief Risk Office team
- Knowledge of UK regulatory environment, with ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of FCA suitability rules
- Good knowledge of wealth management services and products
- Analytical skills and ability to take initiative
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to actively manage case loads and achieve challenging delivery targets
- Confidence and ability to orally communicate effectively
- Excellent system skills, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
- Approachability and networking skills
- Good written communication skills, with eye for detail
- Language skills an advantage
