Investment Risk Analytics Officer

A leading Asset Manager is looking for a senior risk analytics officer to join their risk department for an initial 6 month contract role. This role can be based in Glasgow or London.

The purpose of the role will be to support the risk and compliance department in the implementation of a reporting solution in accordance with AIFMD requirements. You will be responsible for assessing and verifying IT requirements and calculation methodologies to develop shadow calculations for official figures.

- Candidates must have a strong background working in specialist risk analytical roles. You will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of key market, credit and liquidity risk methodologies with the ability to build mathematical/statistical risk models.
- Should be able to display strong understanding of the calculation and interpretation of financial/investment risk measures.
- Experience of developing risk and control policies.
- Highly developed IT skills - excel and VBA are essential. Skills in SQL, C#, Java, R would be preferred.
