THE COMPANY
Our client is newly formed asset management business, which, despite being only 18 months old has quickly established itself as a major player in the retail and institutional fund management world.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a result of a continued growth in their assets under management they have a fantastic opportunity in their investment operations team.

Reporting into the Head of Investment Operations you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that operational procedures are understood and followed.

You will also support custody payment processing, help process corporate actions and Proxy voting elections, as well as assist with daily overdraft monitoring and cash management, cash and stock reconciliation, supporting post trade support processes including matching and settlement mismatches.

YOUR PROFILE
The successful candidate will need experience of working for a buy side investment organisation with a broad understanding of other functional areas such as dealing and investments.

You will also need an understanding of full trade life cycle, experience of post trade processes including matching and settlement procedures and experience with corporate action and Proxy voting processing.

On top of this you MUST have:

Excellent MS Excel skills
Order management system experience (Bloomberg would be a ideal)
Ability to learn and adapt to change in an agile environment
Ability to work in a digital environment
Open and transparent with excellent communication skills
