INVESTMENT DATA TECHNICIAN- LIFE INSURANCE - DORKING

CONTRACT - DORKING - £300 - 6 MONTHS - INVESTMENT REPORTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

A unique opportunity has arisen in a rapidly expanding FTSE 100 life insurer in Dorking. The company has a strong record of continuous commercial expansion.

The Investment Data Technician role in DORKING pays £300 a day and has a duration of 6 months. The successful candidate would join the Investment Reporting function. The role focuses on maintaining the investment database asset prices, dividends, interest, trades & corporate events. The candidate would also be involved in Security priceasset prices, dividends, interest, trades & corporate events.
- Security price & income validation.
- Portfolio & security standing data maintenance.
- Ensure transactions executed by asset managers are accurately reflected on FL investment system
- Data vendor KPI analysis.
- Identify & report risks/control improvements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- SII Investment Administration Qualification (or equivalent)
- Two years financial services experience in an FSA regulatory environment. Including unit linked pricing, mutual funds or investment accounting.
- Strong analytical & numerical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of investment/fund accounting systems such as HiPortfolio an advantage.
