Investment Banking Internal Audit

We have an urgent need for an internal auditor with AML/financial crime and risk audit experience gained in one of the major professional services firms or in a major financial institution. 

The successful candidate will have broad internal audit experience and have participated in, or led, AML/financial crime related internal audits in a corporate or investment banking environment. In addition, good  hands on experience of planning, managing and executing risk based IT audits of general computer control environments will be a real advantage.

The successful candidate will also have been involved in follow up reviews to assess the extent to which agreed remedial action plans have been completed.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for delivering an agreed programme of work. This work will require you to have excellent writing and documentation skills as well as very effective oral communication skills (needed to gain the respect of senior stakeholders and to build commitment to change).

A strong intellect, evidenced by a 2.i or higher degree and probably a masters qualification, is a must -as is the ability to immediately integrate into a team composed of some of the brightest and most professional IT auditors in the country.

The work is primarily London based but some UK and international travel may also be required.
