Intranet IT Consultant - Global Environment - Sharepoint2013

We are currently looking for an Intranet IT Consultant for a global pharmaceutical company based in Basel (Switzerland), that would be a 6 months contract, the start date for this position is the beginning of January.

the Intranet IT Consultant will act as an Informatics Manager with business partners, actively supporting them to accommodate business needs and to further enhance the company's solution.

Key responsibilities:

Analysis of new Intranet site requests and working closely with the Information Architect, Intranet Managers etc. on how to best accommodate the needs.
Analysis of new requirements for the company, coordinate requirements with all relevant parties and support the Business Analyst with detailed requirements gathering
Actively consult and provide expertise the Intranet Managers on best method to fulfil the Business needs.
Actively provides solution to the Business using the existing technical frameworks, processes and tools.
Act as a liaison between business customers and technical development.
Contribute to the knowledge base by writing and maintain technical articles and sharing experience within the consultancy team.

Qualifications:

Working experience in a global environment
Strong technical expertise of SharePoint 2010 technologies and general web design technologies (HTML, Javascript ), SharePoint 2013 is a plus.
A highly organized and efficient self-starting attitude, being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minor supervision
Ability to quickly analyze and define pragmatic solutions with the focus on business value
Strong team player
Proven skills in customer relationship management and strong service orientation
fluency in English is a must

Please note that whether this position will be fulltime. It is planned that the contractor works minimum 50% on this project at the location in Basel.
